Camp Kesem is a national organization that hosts a free camp for children who have been affected by their parent's cancer. Carnegie Mellon University is proud to be a chapter of this organization that will serve over 10,000 children, ages 6-16, this summer. This is all made possible by passionate college students, donations, and community support. Camp Kesem at Carnegie Mellon was founded by students in Spring 2014, and held its first camp in August 2015! Our goal this year is to serve 60 children affected by a parent's cancer, and to make this cost-free camp a reality, we will need to raise $60,000 over the next year. Camp will be held this upcoming year from August 12-18, 2017 at the Camp Y-Noah, a YMCA camp in Clinton, Ohio!
