Free Summer Camp! Camp Kesem is a national, student-run, non-profit organization that supports children whose parent has or has had cancer. We do this primarily through a weeklong summer camp. Aside from a week of endless fun, Camp Kesem provides children with a supportive, loving environment full of children and counselors who have had similar life experiences. We strive to give children an outlet to have fun, open up about their feelings, and connect with peers who understand what they are going through. Camp Kesem provides this camp free of charge in order to make it accessible to as many children as possible, regardless of their circumstances. Additionally, we support children and families through “Kesem by Your Side,” an initiative aimed at ensuring our campers have the support they need and deserve year-round.
