Kesem is a national non-profit organization that emphasizes on supporting children, aged 6-18, through and beyond their parent's cancer. This means that our campers have a parent who has either won, lost, or is still fighting through their battle with cancer. The support given to our campers is mainly done through our flagship program, Camp Kesem. Camp Kesem is a week-long and completely free summer camp that is led by college student leaders. We emphasize on a week of fun to empower our campers through and beyond their parent's cancer journey. This year we will have 175 campers and we aim to raise $120,000 to make it happen. The camp dates of our two one-week long sessions are July 22nd-27th (Week 1) and July 30th-August 4th (Week 2). We will be at YMCA Camp Kern this year in Oregonia, OH.
