Wexford Acting Studio
The Wexford Acting Studio has been training performers for the stage for over 14 years now. We are known for our care for kids and we nurture their love for all things theatrical, including shows, growing in their performance skill sets and for the overall fun of what it means to be on stage and in class creating theater.
We teach all ages, from 6-teens and everyone is met where they are in their growth and maturity levels. Classes are designed to teach the kids what they need to be a whole performer. We have three levels: One is for ages 6-9, Two is for ages 10-12 and Three is for teens. Each level approaches the same skills needed to succeed in performing for live audiences but with different age-appropriate activities.
No previous training is needed to register and participate in classes. Everything the students need to know is taught in class! If a student does have prior experience, that's great! We love challenging our kids who want to improve on the skills they already have.
There is no downside in developing stage skills. Students can use what the learn in class in their classrooms at school when making presentations or doing public speaking, or when auditioning for their talent show or school plays & musicals. The skills and the things they learn in class will help them to be more comfortable socializing, and to be more confident in their every day encounters. Many friendships are formed in class and the kids learn to trust each other so that they can function in a creative atmosphere without fear of feeling "silly". They learn to use their imaginations and create characters that are uniquely theirs. The times they have in class will be times they will cherish in the years to come.

Our fall show this year is Seussical which will be performed at North Catholic High School on November 3rd and 4th 2018 at 2:00 & 6:00 both days. Tickets go on sale in mid-October.
