Campers have their own sacred space the JCC's beautiful, 100-acre Family Park and get to participate in all the camp classics, from archery to swimming, to high ropes and arts and crafts. Learning & Adventure! This summer, Camp Guyasuta will offer eight weeks of an awesome day camp that are co-ed and open to all youth. These programs will be in a “drop off” format, with early arrival and late pick up available. All doodlers ages 5 -14 are invited to express their imagination this summer! Our Summer Camps run from June - August. Brand new to our Summer 2021 schedule are sessions that run 9am - 4pm or 10am -2pm. Lesson plans are rooted in art history and designed and implemented by teachers with Masters Degrees in Education and higher. Though camp themes may be repeated from year to year or throughout the summer - lesson plans and projects are brand new!

Challenger Learning Center - Take a space mission!
In this week-long experience, campers will take on the roles of scientists and engineers working together from around the world to launch robotic probes that explore our solar system. Each day, the small crew will gather (remotely) with Challenger Learning Center staff for one hour to complete team building, learn about space exploration, and advance their mission. Then, on their own time, crew members must use creative problem solving to complete challenges using only the materials they have at home.

Carrollton’s Camp Wonder Summer Day Camp Begins Virtually in June
City of Carrollton
The City of Carrollton will initially allow 30 registrations for 2021 Camp Wonder due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. All potential participants beyond that number will be placed on a waitlist. Keep in mind, the waitlist is not a guaranteed spot in Camp Wonder. Parents will be made aware if and when the City decides to open up more registered spaces in Camp.
