Adventures in Art Camp at Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center

Come on an exciting adventure with instructor Holly Lees and discover how art plays a major role in nature and the world around us. Adventure campers will start each day with mindfulness lessons that can help kids deal with stresses of daily life. Mindful practices also encourage kindness and caring as we experience cool adventures. This is art in action! We’ll gain new perspectives with mindfulness and turn the art-world upside-down and inside out to create wild and wacky art creations. We’ll spin, swing, and pour paint using BW’s giant spin art machine! This camp is in 3D, campers will glaze their own pottery, build nature sculptures, make fun flying kites and clay critters. We’ll experiment with popular alcohol ink to create colorful tiles that can be used as coasters or wall hangings. We will engage in highflying adventure through rock climbing, zip lining, and more at our adventurous field trip to Outdoor Odyssey on Wednesday, July 10.

When you enroll for four or more weeks, you’ll pay a special price for each week of camp and will be considered a Bottle Works Junior Artist for the Summer of 2019. Junior Artists will receive major artists’ perks including a swag bag with a t-shirt and other fun things.
