Our mission is to HONOR veterans, active military, and military families; EDUCATE about the history and values of service and sacrifice in defense of freedom; INSPIRE a sense of patriotism and appreciation in protecting the right to liberty and justice for all; and PRESERVE the military artifacts entrusted to our care. The many exhibits and artifacts featured at the Buffalo Naval & Military Park bring to life some of the major events in our nation’s history to defend freedom and democracy and honor those who have served.

We honor and recognize veterans, educate our youth on the importance of the sacrifices made by our veterans, and inspire citizens and children with a sense of patriotism and appreciation for the freedoms that define our nation and way of life.
