Explore Models and Molecules at a Free Workshop!

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 08/25/2019
In this workshop, we will work with different types of molecular models. We will learn how scientists use these to understand synthetic and natural molecules, including those of living organisms. We will work with models of interesting molecules and learn how computers help scientific discovery!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Everything we see and touch is made of atoms and molecules. But they are too small to see directly. As a result, we often use models to better understand molecules, what they do, and how they are made. Models can be drawn on paper, held in your hand, or displayed on a computer.
