Ready to break into the dynamic and fast-paced world of journalism? Simply want to learn more about this exciting field while getting a thoroughly hands-on experience? Consider Point Park's workshop, hosted by the School of Communication, which will put you right in the middle of Pittsburgh's media scene, help hone your journalistic skills, and connect you with new friends and colleagues!

Participating students will have the opportunity to focus on a variety of potential interests:

The program seeks to improve students' storytelling/reporting abilities through incorporation of the aesthetic principles of photography, video, and web design. They will also work to better their writing and interviewing skills, while meeting some of Pittsburgh's most active working professionals in the field and getting to experience some of Pittsburgh's best venues (including Stage AE, PPG Paints Arena, and KDKA-TV).
