Enjoy comfortable bleacher style seating for up to 3,700 people at our Aquatorium along the banks of the Monongahela or sit at a picnic table or on the grass with a blanket, or under a tree in the beautifully remodeled park setting. Fireworks are doubly exciting here because the light and sound reflect back at you from the the river bank. The hillside (a three mile long protected area, Allegheny Land Trust's Whetzel Preserve ) lights up like the day and the sound is amazing with the "boom-crackle" of the explosions, the blare of the boat horns from scores of pleasure boats in the river along with the roar of the crowd. Afterwards, have a meal at several restaurants and bars right across the street! Sound exciting? Click here for more information. All this is made possible with generous support from the EQT Foundation and the Monongahela Area Chamber of Commerce. Tired of fighting Pittsburgh traffic and crowds? Instead, come enjoy the food, fireworks and entertainment at the best fireworks venue in Southwestern PA! (We aren't kidding - read the Google reviews and see the photos here.) One review says: "Came in to see the fireworks for 4th of July. Such a beautiful little town and the Aquatorium is beautiful. If you are in town and have a chance to watch the sunset over the river, it is just amazing to see." - S.S.
