Learn to DJ for Beginners (Drop-In Club) on Out School

Do you love music and wonder how DJs make smooth mixes and creative sounds? In this ongoing drop-in club, learners will explore beginner-friendly DJ techniques step by step. Each class focuses on one skill, with a balance of demonstration, guided practice, and time for learners to try it out themselves.

Learners can join any week without needing previous experience. Every session offers a fresh skill to explore, so students can learn at their own pace while building confidence and creativity. Examples of weekly topics include: - Beatmatching and transitions - Using EQ to shape sound - Loops and effects - Intro to scratching - Building a “mini mix” Learners are encouraged to share their ideas and mixes during class. This supportive setting gives students the opportunity to express themselves, listen to one another, and gain inspiration from peers.
