Lights, Camera, Action!: Pittsburgh and the Movies at Heinz History Center

Explore Pittsburgh’s Hollywood stories, look at clothing and see how it has changed over time, and weave a simple pattern. Then watch the work of Lois Weber, America’s first female film director, and make your own mini movie!

Children ages 5-8 can explore Pittsburgh stories through games, art, cooking, making, and other hands-on activities. Caregivers and siblings are welcome, but programming is designed for children ages 5-8. These fun and lively sessions will be led by museum educators.

History Explorers sessions are $8 for both youth participants and adults and free for History Center members.
