Pysanky: Ukrainian Easter Eggs - North Hills Art Center

In anticipation of Spring & Easter, Pysanky are a tradition in Eastern Europe. This batik method of applying layers of beeswax and egg dye to the eggs creates intricate and beautiful designs. In this workshop you will create up to 4 eggs depending on the intricacy, and learn about the symbolism of the designs and colors, February 22 and March 7, 2020. Hot wax is used in this class. All materials included.
