The first planned trails in Warner Park were equestrian trails and the Iroquois Steeplechase Course is the only government-built horse track in the country.

Dwight Hall, Chairman of the Iroquois Race Committee, will present some interesting history and stories about how horses are so connected to this city park and why some of the best horses and riders in the world come to Warner Park each year for one of Nashville’s biggest and best events.
