Virtual Camps from Guidepost Montessori
Guidepost Montessori is offering half-day virtual summer camp experiences for Elementary age students 6-12 all summer long, with different themes each week. With Guidepost Virtual Summer Camp, your child will have the chance to grow skills in science, art, and creative thinking, with daily live programming guided by our team. Families will need to source some general household products and supplies; we will share a materials list in advance.
Available in two time zones: 9:00-12:00pm EST / 9:30-12:30pm PST. COST: $150/week

Typical Day
In addition to hands-on building in the morning and afternoon, campers will play interactive games led by our instructors and on-line boardgames to develop individual friendships, engage in group discussions, and participate in plenty of movement activities and games.
Our goal is for parents not to be involved with their children's camp day. However, depending on a child's level of independence and fluency with technology, they may need additional guidance or redirection that we are not able to provide virtually.

Live Instruction
Campers will be with a live instructor throughout their day. Instruction and activities will be adapted to each camper and each group, just as they would be at our in-person camps.

We offer Fantastic virtual French camp programming to children aged 4 to 12 with significant academic components as well as some fun aspects, run by trained and knowledgeable leaders, and on a safe and secure online platform.
Our French virtual camps will allow your children to spend quality time with enthusiastic leaders while enhancing their French skills during the holidays! Campers will rotate through a variety of activities including get moving, arts and crafts and board games! Each day will also include a rotation of academic-focused activities (reading, conversation and comprehension). Much-loved skits, songs and imaginary campfire will be included of course!
We have also included a snack time so kids can eat in front of their computers and chat with their friends and of course some breaks to stretch their legs and go to the washroom. These camps are designed to be both academic and fun and include tons of opportunities to practice various French Skills and socialize with their peers. |

Space Rangers Virtual Camp is an exciting and educational half-day camp for kids who want to uncover the secrets of the universe. At camp, kids will become Space Rangers! Their mission: Have a blast while exploring planets, galaxies, black holes, aliens, and more. Our space experts will engage with campers over Zoom with a variety of interactive visual activities that will inspire young minds in STEM, promote critical thinking, and create excitement around space exploration.
With a long summer approaching, our virtual program allows kids to take part in a true camp experience from the comfort of home. We are offering camp four days per week throughout the summer, with a half day (3 hour) duration. For added flexibility, campers can partake in either a 1 or 2 week program.

When school is out for the summer, art is in at CREATE! Each week of summer camp will bring new art adventures. Our experienced teaching artists inspire creativity by teaching a variety of art-making techniques, and by exploring the styles of artists to help our campers draw inspiration for their own artwork. The week-long sessions allow for both multi-day and single-day projects, giving our campers the opportunity to work with a variety of materials, including watercolor and tempera paints, clay, plaster, oil pastels, and more. At the end of the week, each child will go home with a portfolio filled with original artwork! HMNS Summer Virtual Camps are summer camps that have been specifically designed for a virtual format. Virtual camps provide around one hour of educational engagement for your child every day for one week, live interaction with one our skilled educators, self-guided learning opportunities for kids (though parents are always welcome to participate) and individual supply boxes for camp specific supplies. An HMNS Educator will be on a virtual call with the camp to interact with campers, lead them in activities and answer questions. We will also have a moderator for each camp managing the logistics of the camps and offering tech support if needed. |
