We welcome you and your kids in the galleries! During this tour, museum educators facilitate a playful and thoughtful relationship with art for children ages 3 through 10 and their families with hands-on activities and interactive conversations. This 30-minute experience is free with museum admission.

World Lion Day at Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium!

Over the last 30 years, African Lion populations have declined by nearly 50%. As a member of AZA’s African Lion SAFE program, we’re committed to supporting conservation efforts that balance both the needs of lions and their habitats, as well as the local communities where they live. Join us on Monday, August 10th, to celebrate World Lion Day, where we will celebrate our newest lion cub, as well as all the things that make lions special and how we can help protect them for future generations.

Heritage Grape Harvest Festival
