Nature Adventure Camps at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden
Nature Adventure Camps at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden are specially designed to connect children with plants and the natural world. Whether diving into the aquatic world of the Lotus Pond, digging deeper into the habitats of local wildlife, or exploring the world of botany, each program offers unique lessons about living and learning in nature!
Each program includes hands-on activities and opportunities for individual exploration and problem solving.

Champ Camp
A world of exploration, learning, and serious fun!Your kids have waited all year for summer. Give them a one-of-a-kind day camp experience they can’t get anywhere else. Join us for one week or all summer long for an adventure that puts field trips, outdoor exploration, and epic experiences front and center. Our unique locations give campers access to extra-special resources and activities:

Steve & Kate’s Camp
Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s has put kids in charge of their own learning experience. Campers choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, coding, film, sports, and more! As kids try, fail, and learn on their own, they learn to trust their own judgment, and tackle the challenges of an ever changing world with creativity and confidence.
Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. If your plans change, we’ll automatically refund any unused days at summer’s end. Lunch, snacks & 8am–6pm included.
Camps for Creatives
Trust Arts EducationSummer doesn’t have to mean learning is over! Budding artists can learn something new or explore their favorite art forms at Camps for Creatives brought to you by Trust Arts Education!
Camps for Creatives offers a variety of 5-day camp options for Kindergarten through 12th grade in July. Topics for the camps include theatre production; arts and science; stories of the great outdoors; costume design and stagecraft; and global art exploration. Each 5-day camp meets from 9 am-4 pm.
