The Slavic Department offers language courses in Russian, Polish, BCMS (Bosnian-Croatian-Montenegrin-Serbian), Slovak, and Ukrainian. The undergraduate program features a Russian major, and minors in Polish, Slovak, and BCMS. Summer courses and study-abroad opportunities are available through the Summer Language Institute. Festivals and special events about these languages and cultures are offered throughout the year.
