Acting Classes for Kids

Student Acting Classes for Beginners (Ages 7-11) and Intermediate (12-18). Learn the basics of performing onstage through monologue & acting scene preparation, stage directions, characterization, vocalization, and body movement.
Saturdays, 50 minutes each class for 6 weeks, running January 24th - February 28th.
Cost: $130 per student.
No prior acting experience required.
Jeanie Cygrymus (Acting Class Instructor) Jeanie had been performing since she was in elementary school and her love for theater has never wavered. She has worked in many aspects of theater over the years from being a Props Designer and Sound Designer to being a Director and Actor. Jeanie currently works at Peters Township High School where she serves as one of their Thespian Troupe Sponsors and as one of their show directors. She has also directed for South Park Children’s Theatre for the past 13 years and has taught acting classes at South Park Theatre and Mon River Arts. Jeanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences.
