All About Kwanzaa (Virtual)

*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 12/30/2020
Kwanzaa was created in 1966 by Maulana Karenga to celebrate African American family, culture, and community. It is based in African traditions. Kwanzaa is an annual celebration, held each winter for seven days, from December 26 to January 1. Each day there is a principle. The principle for the day of this talk (December 30) is Nia, which means purpose. Join Toni Hines to learn about the other six principles and many other aspects of this rich holiday tradition.
