Breathe Better Day - Carnegie Museum of Art
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 07/13/2019
Celebrate air quality awareness with us! We present a day of lectures, discussions, and family-friendly activities. Just drop in!
Monet and the Modern City highlights how artists responded to the rise of industry, often characterizing the urban industrial landscape as a beautiful, powerful promise of the future. We know now that industrialization harmed the environment and many people’s quality of life, and remains an ongoing problem for our region.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Through Breathe Better Day, learn the history of Monet’s interest in the city as subject, examine elements that affect Pittsburgh’s air quality, and discover ways to get involved.
The Hall of Sculpture activities will feature Breathe Project, Clean Air Council, GASP, and PennFuture.
