Our youngest campers will have the opportunity to write an original song and record their own music video this week.
The students will experiment with different recording methods, both audio and visual and listen back to their own compositions.
This camp will encourage students to collaborate to write an original song and design a music video for it that will be released once the camp has finished.
The campers will also participate in visual art projects that will be used in the making of the music video (props, costumes, accessories, etc).
Overall this camp aims to encourage the self-expression and artistic freedom of our students, develop group cohesion, demonstrate the basics of recording, and introduce the concept of rhythm and playing music together.
This camp is appropriate for any kids interested in recording, regardless of prior music experience.
