Welcome to a summer camp experience like no other! The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is excited to offer seven weeks of STEAM-focused summer camps for children ages 6 – 12. Our summer camps are packed full of hands-on activities designed to ignite the curiosity and creativity of young minds, blending history with hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities.
All camps include behind-the-scenes tours, interactive guided walkthroughs of our extensive collection of artifacts and historic streetcars, time to explore our 21,000 square foot Welcome and Education Center exhibit galleries, and rides on several of our fully-restored antique trolleys. Each day also includes a daily snack.
Enroll your child in a program that sparks their interest in learning and a passion for history and STEAM. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity for your child to have a summer full of fun, exploration, new friendships, a lifetime of memories, and STEAM-fueled adventures!
Summer camps run daily, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Discover how science, history, and technology come together as we explore the past and plan for the future! Make a working instrument out of fruits and vegetables, then design and build electrifying inventions for a new “Smart Streetcar” using Makey Makey technology. Whip up a fresh batch of conductive playdough to make real working circuits, then explore solar-powered vehicles and renewable energy sources. Spend a day learning to code with Sphero Robotics to drive through obstacle courses, then design and race robot-powered horsecars. Unleash your inner innovator!
