International Summer Dance - In-Person

Our comprehensive dance program specializes in three styles - Ballet, Jazz and Modern. The curriculum includes daily technique classes in ballet, jazz and modern, supplemented by Pointe and variations, male technique, pas de deux, tap, music for dancers, Pilates and yoga.
Open to ages 10 -30, this program is designed for serious, pre-professional dancers who are currently conditioned and receiving training. International Summer Dance is a very selective and highly intensive program geared towards young dancers who are currently training for a minimum of 6+ hours per week. If you are not familiar with a dance intensive, we recommend students participate in our Summer Dance Workshop instead. International Summer Dance is for intermediate to advanced students only.
Acceptance into the program is by audition only. For the 2021 season, all auditions will be conducted by video submission via Accept'd. Visit our website for the full list of audition requirements. Audition submissions are due by April 30, 2021. If you’ve attended the program in previous years, you do not need to audition again. You can simply note this when you register to reserve your spot. However, If you would like to be considered for an artistic scholarship, you will need to auditon again.
Two session length options are available:
- 3-week In-Person Session (Sunday, June 20 (move-in) through Saturday, July 10)
- 6-week In-Person Session (Sunday, June 20 (move-in) through Saturday, July 31)
This season, the program is only open to on-ground, residential students (14 years+). No commuter options are available due to Covid-19. Residential spots will be capped at 140 participants to ensure further social distancing. Out-of-state students are welcome!
