We’re kicking off our Banned Books Club during Black History Month, honoring BIPOC voices in our community. This month’s selection includes “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You” by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi, along with “When Aiden Became A Brother” by Kyle Lukoff and “Something Happened in Our Town” by Marianne Celano and Marietta Collins. Thanks to the Flagstar Foundation, each quarter brings an innovative art project spanning spoken word, drawing, music, and more! Facilitated by Aaron Lytle, our club provides an exciting, informative, educational, and FREE way to connect with your community. Be part of the club starting on Friday, February 23rd from 7-8PM EST online. |
