Dusky Discoveries
What do most mosquitoes, house cats, and tenrecs have in common? They are crepuscular! Many creatures come out at dusk, when the day is cooling and there is still scattered light. Come learn about the advantages (and disadvantages) of being crepuscular, or active at twilight. After a short presentation, we will hit the trail in search of these dusk creatures (maybe even finding a dusky salamander)! Please wear boots and bring headlamps, especially ones with a red light setting.
