Paintastic! at Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center

Paint covers the art AND the walls at this camp. Come to this camp and experiment with many different types of painting. Art educator and professional painter, Maddie Barrate will teach us the tools, tips and tricks of the trade Students will learn the basics of mural painting and the importance of public art. Together we will come up with a theme, learn proper paint mixing and application techniques that mural artists use. Here’s the best part: We’ll make a mural painting that will be on public display at Bottle Works for the community to see! We’ll also “magically” transform 2D paintings into 3d sculpture. This will be a great chance to paint the week away!

When you enroll for four or more weeks, you’ll pay a special price for each week of camp and will be considered a Bottle Works Junior Artist for the Summer of 2019. Junior Artists will receive major artists’ perks including a swag bag with a t-shirt and other fun things.
