Join us from 6pm to 7pm on June 9th (Sunday) as Ishaan continues to discuss various ways beginner-intermediate players can upgrade their perspective on the entire board, not just their current or next moves. - 3 questions to ask yourself to identify unprotected pieces.
- Prevent knight forks
- Avoid your own pawn forks or trap the opponent's pawn when they enter your side
- Simple ways to pick off enemy pieces standing on a straight line.

A brief intro to Ishaan:
- Ishaan is the co-founder & Level 3A coach at Puddletown. He is a freshman at Jesuit High School. Ishaan embarked on his chess journey in kindergarten and has been competing in the game ever since. Ishaan clinched the title of the Oregon State Middle School Championship in 2022 and proudly represented Oregon in the Barber National Middle School Championships.
