Rumpelstiltskin: Private Eye at South Park Theatre: Friday-Sunday October 11 - 20, 2024: This play is performed on South Park Theatre's indoor Mainstage; it is geared toward families with young children. Performed by kids and for kids, the actors are between age 6 and 18 and hail from the South Hills region of Pittsburgh. Tickets are $6 for kids, $10 for adults and are available for purchase in advance. Children three years old and younger are admitted for free (should sit on an adult's lap). Show times are Fridays at 6:00pm, Saturdays at 2:00pm & 6:00pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm. The performance will run under 2 hours with an intermission.

Show Synopsis: In this witty film noir fairytale spoof, Fairytale Land has been hit by a crime wave. The Three Bears’ home was broken into. The Three Little Pigs’ homes were destroyed. Now Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother is missing. The crimes seem unrelated, at least if you listen to those shady Grimm brothers. But could an evil mastermind be behind them all? Something punny is going on! Only hard-boiled detective Rumpelstiltskin and his wise-cracking partner Ugly Duckling can solve this wacky case. Full of hilarious characters and snappy one-liners, this private eye parody is pure gold!
