*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 06/26/2024
Scherenschnitte is the art of papercutting. Pronounced “sheer-en-shnit-ah,” this German word means “scissor cuts.” Whether you have cut folded paper into a snowflake design or cut free form shapes with scissors, you have created a version of this Swiss-German style of paper artwork. Learn about the history of Scherenschnitte and create your own paper-cutting artwork.
Family programs are included with general admission and designed for all ages. Pick up your free ticket for this program at the admission desk.
