The annual history Symposium Junior takes place at the Meeting House, at 182 S. Main Street, Washington, PA 15301. Each year, the presenters are chosen based on the period in time they represent and their connection to Southwestern PA history.
This year, as we celebrate America 250, the program portrays Dorothy Quincy Hancock, wife of John Hancock who famously signed the Declaration of Independence. Mrs. Hancock was in the right places at the right time to witness the American Revolution.
The program will last roughly 1.5 hours. There will be time for questions and photo opportunities.
Suitable for elementary school students.
