Virtual Workshop for Early Learners: Time Capsules - The Andy Warhol Museum

Join our educators for a series of Virtual Workshops for early learners, ages 3–6. Participants will engage in a mix of storytelling, hands-on synchronous art making, movement and independent exploration.

Warhol was an avid collector and created over 600 Time Capsules from the early 1970s until his death in 1987. Within those boxes, archivists have uncovered the image sources for some of his iconic works, letters from family and friends, food, gifts and more. Create a time capsule to collect memories throughout the new year.
Please note: This will be a live online workshop. Caregivers are required to stay with their child for the duration of the workshop. A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, along with stable internet connection are needed to participate. Art projects can be completed with common art supplies and objects found around the house. Supply lists vary from workshop to workshop. Files for supplemental worksheets and project templates will be emailed to registrants to be downloaded and printed at home. Arrangements can be made to have printouts mailed, if needed.
