Irma Freeman Center for Imagination | Kids Out and About Pittsburgh

Irma Freeman Center for Imagination

In the past we have had events, camps, concerts, rentals and exhibitions. We have exhibitions and community driven events including everything from fashion runways, concerts, puppet shows, dance performance, plays, readings, fundraisers, wellness days, to performance art, et al. You name it, we’ve done it! During this time of social distance we have a growing schedule of zoom platform visual and performance based camps and classes for for kids 6 - 13.

We are now working remotely to bring as much rich and wonderful content as we can into your virtual campground. Our new format will be on the Zoom platform where each teacher can communicate remotely with every child. Each camp will have a resource packet (or supply and materials list) that parents can pick up at our gallery. The packet will contain everything your child needs to have a successful camp experience. This is all new for us but we are working hard to make the best out of dire situation and we have found lots of new ideas and fun for all. We are asking for a suggested donation of $10 - $50 per camp. If your family cannot afford this, please pay what you can. First write to <info@irmafreeman.org> and fill out the short form on the virtual camp page. We look forward to this amazing new journey!  We invite parents from all over the world to sign up! We also hope to welcome our regular families back into our camps! Adult classes coming soon! Please join us! We ask you to subscribe to our up and coming Youtube channel, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook for more specials, free tutorials and grab bags!

During these difficult times we offer online camps and classes, and virtual art tours. Our camp tuition is a sliding scale of $10 - $50 per camp! Any family can apply for pay what you can tuition. Join us this summer for our virtual zoom camps!
