The Magic of Summer Camp
1. Hands-On Learning: Campers dive into daily farm life—feeding our friendly horses, grooming sessions, and learning the ropes of horse care. They'll collect eggs from the henhouse and plant seeds in our expansive garden, fostering a deep understanding of farming and where food comes from.
2. Horseback Riding Adventures: Guided by our experienced instructors, campers learn basic riding techniques and build confidence in a safe, supportive environment. Riding our gentle horses is often the highlight of the week!
3. Culinary Creations: Kids whip up their own homemade strawberry jam, pickles, ice cream, or butter using fresh ingredients harvested right here. These delicious projects teach practical cooking skills and the joy of crafting something from scratch.
4. Baby Animal Encounters: An abundance of hands-on interaction with baby animals and chicks awaits. Children cuddle fluffy bunnies, hold chirping chicks, and bottle-feed lambs. These precious moments foster compassion, responsibility, and a deep love for animals.
5. Goat Mountain Adventures: Watch our playful goats romp and leap on "Goat Mountain", a specially designed playground just for them. Campers adore observing these lively creatures showcase their natural agility and curiosity.
6. Refreshing Escapades at Raccoon Creek: On warm summer days, campers cool off by wading in the gentle waters of Raccoon Creek. They explore the creek's ecosystem, search for minnows and tadpoles, and relish the simple joy of splashing under the sun.
7. Animal Encounters in Natural Habitats: Beyond the petting zoo, children experience farm animals in their natural environments, creating unforgettable connections with nature.
8. Outdoor Exploration: With 124 acres to explore, kids embark on nature hikes, discover local wildlife, and wander through our expansive garden. Scavenger hunts and team challenges encourage teamwork and a love for the outdoors.
9. Friendship and Fun: Our camps are all about making new friends and having a blast. Shared adventures help campers build lasting bonds. Cel
