The European Space Agency’s Jupiter Icy Moon Explorer launches in 2022 for a journey to Jupiter and its icy moons. The goal of the mission is to find out whether the interior of Jupiter’s icy moons can provide conditions favorable for life as we know it. Dr. Nicolas Altobelli, from the ESA in Spain and the JUICE mission manager, will explain the concept of habitability, why icy moons around gas giant planets may be a common habitat in the galaxy, then discuss the current & future chal
