McKinley Park Earth Month Celebration

Join the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy for a fun-filled day at McKinley Park as we celebrate Earth Month! Starting at 12:00 PM, we will have larger-than-life lawn games, balloon artists, free food, nature activities, live music, and so much more! We will also be joined by the Y on the Fly, offering even more family-friendly activities.

No registration is required to attend the celebration, except the following activities:
Hike with a Naturalist: Spring Mushrooms
Join expert, Jim Tunney, on a mushroom walk in McKinley Park. We’ll be celebrating Earth Month by looking for and learning about mushrooms, and picking up trash while we are out on the trails. Hike will meet at the entrance near 900 Delmont Ave.

Meet me in the Park
Join us outside for some family-friendly activities in McKinley Park to celebrate Earth Month. Enjoy nature as we play, create, and explore with simple nature activities! This program meets at 900 Delmont Ave at the Shelter House.
