Laurel Highlands Council, Scouting America serves youth members and volunteer adult leaders throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania and portions of the Potomac region in Maryland and West Virginia. We aim to beneficially involve every eligible child and their family in the fun and adventure of our programs. Through its camps, activities, and year-round programming, Laurel Highlands Council provides young people with hands-on experiences that foster confidence, resilience, and teamwork. From first-time campers to those achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, participants are guided by trained volunteers and staff who are committed to helping every Scout grow into a responsible, engaged citizen.

With a strong emphasis on family involvement and inclusive participation, the Council works to ensure that Scouting is accessible to all youth, creating meaningful experiences that last a lifetime.

Various opportunities are offered—from camping and earning merit badges to Scout Nights and community service projects—giving every Scout the chance to explore their interests, build new skills, and create lasting memories.
