To give students of all backgrounds and beliefs the skills to become independent, creative thinkers, critical problem solvers, and successful collaborators. To mentor, support, protect and encourage, a respectful and professional community, where each student’s creative potential can be explored. We promote physical and emotional well-being through performing arts classes and live performances that take place in a safe, accepting and non-judgmental environment.

Here at Westmoreland performing arts we have classes for kids ages 4-18 in Acting, Dance

and Voice, all taught by actual working professional performers.

We concentrate on the whole child, and our first priority is not just to make you a better singer

or dancer, but to create a community where young performers gain confidence as people.

WPA can train you to become a star, but just as importantly we deliver lessons that can help

future teachers, business people, community leaders or hundreds of other professions where

the self-esteem you gain here will go a long way towards success.

We also produce professional productions at the historic Palace Theatre, The Greensburg

Garden and Civic Center and Westmoreland County Community College. We are also active

partners with many community organizations!
