Winter Mini Camp | Backyard Animals

Winter Mini-Camp is a five-hour program that focuses on the beauty and magic of nature. Children can participate in one, two, or all three days. Participants will learn about a new topic each day through live animal visits, craft projects, and exciting Zoo tours.

Wednesday, December 27
Backyard Animals: Incredible animals can be found right in our backyard. Mini-campers will meet animals that call Western Pennsylvania home with a focus on owls.
Thursday, December 28
Designs in Nature: Mini-campers will discover nature's most interesting designs on animals and plants throughout the Zoo, including our red pandas!
Friday, December 29
Tricky Tracks: Mini-campers will be on the lookout for tricky tracks throughout the Zoo and take a special look at penguins. Have fun tracking the Zoo's animals, and maybe even each other!
Winter Mini-Camp is available for ages 5-9. Please register for each child based on their age group.
