Our zoology camp gives students of grades 5th - 8th a hands-on opportunity to discover the similarities and differences between mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods (better known as bugs!).

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Fascinated by animals of all shapes and sizes? Our zoology camp gives students of grades 5th - 8th a hands-on opportunity to discover the similarities and differences between mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods (better known as bugs!). Together, we will learn how to classify these creatures from all across the globe and throughout the animal kingdom based on morphology, symmetry, and other characteristics. We will provide a memorable learning experience that includes observation, dissection and other hands-on activities. Throughout the week, campers will learn through activities and crafts, and by the end of the week, all of our campers will have completed their own personal zoology notebook full of all the things they discovered.
