Steel City Rowing Club offers an outdoor day camp along the Allegheny River in Verona for kids ages 8-12! Campers can expect to explore the river and Sycamore Island, connect with the water via swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and having fun on the docks and around the boathouse. POV – you’re in the woods with your fellow campers, and it’s on you as a team to make it out. You will need to build fires, filter water, forage food, and build a shelter. Each “Survivor” will master campfire cooking (with basic fire safety woven in) and become fluent in Leave No Trace principles. You’ll also hike, geocache, and kayak through North Park. All of this PLUS the adventure, fun, and friendships cultivated at summer camp. ![]() |

POV – you’re in the woods with your fellow campers and everyone’s phone is DEAD. You’ll have to navigate using a compass (on land and while kayaking), build fires, filter water, forage food (and hang it in a bear bag!), construct a shelter, and survive until someone with a portable charger finds you. Campers will learn all the skills listed above while building relationships by completing a team survival challenge. You’ll do plenty of hiking and kayaking around North Park. ![]() |

Shake up a flask of fun in the lab as a junior chemist! This hands-on and interactive program of chemistry for children ages 5-12 is packed solid with cool reactions. Students put on goggles and change liquid to solid and back again. They get to handle laboratory tools, build and break molecules, and pick up some tricks on chemical changes. ![]() |

Boys entering grades 2nd - 9th. Camp runs 9am - 4pm each day. This camp is designed to provide campers with skill development and instruction directly from the RMU coaching staff and players, all within RMU Basketball facilities. Campers will have opportunities to compete in drills, work as a team in 5-on-5 competitions, and win contest prizes. Each camper will receive a T-Shirt and Basketball. ![]() |
