Campers will create natural face paint, build and race a cardboard fish, and look for creatures big and small in the waterways of North Park. We will spend some time kayaking while looking at the critters that call North Park Lake home. PSA: You’ll probably come home a bit muddy.

Camp Pine is the Township's comprehensive summer camp program with both weekly full-day and half day options available. Each week, Camp Pine embarks on a unique theme that helps guide the weekly activities and fun. Daily activities include arts and crafts, games, field trips, special visitors from the Zoo, Phipps Botanical Gardens, MAD Science, Weird Eric Magic, and so much more!

Rainforest, Wetland, Grassland, or Ocean? Birds can live in all kinds of places - discover how birds adapt to living in different environments by solving the mystery of where in the world.... does this bird species live? Meet Animal Ambassadors, explore habitats with Aviary experts, get crafty and take home some birdy mementoes, and learn how we can all help protect the different places that our feathered friends call home.

Biking, and kayaking, and hiking – oh my! For the kid with energy to spare, this week-long exploration of North Park will focus that energy into pedals, paddles and boots. Campers will learn how to responsibly prep gear, proactively fuel their bodies and safely enjoy outdoor adventures. The week will commence with an extended adventure by foot or bike to put their learning into action.

Designed with teens in mind, these are some of the most memorable weeks of camp! There is buzz all year as campers look forward to seeing their friends again and making new ones. Our enthusiastic staff is ready to make the week unforgettable! It is a week of friendship, worship, great games and fun. Times in chapel and cabin discussions are great opportunities to learn more about God’s love.

Add a splash of color to the summer months. From June to August, all artists, ages 4-18, are invited for week-long camps where they can express their creativity and imagination while developing new skills. Our summer art camps are designed around fun and unique themes that inspire the artwork for the week. Teaching the next generation of animal advocates! Grade levels listed indicate which camp is appropriate for your child based upon the grade they complete in the spring of this year. Youths must be registered for the appropriate camp that matches their grade.

Assemble Summer Camps are STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) camps for youth entering grades 1-9 who are ages 6-14. Each day, camp runs from 9am-4pm, with pre and post care available from 8am-5pm.

Summer camp at Sunburst is all about having a blast with music! Campers will explore the wide world of music, including playing in a band, writing and recording songs, drum circles, beatmaking, art projects, and more. Whether they’re picking up an instrument for the first time or working on more advanced skills, there’s something for every young musician. Each week culminates with a live performance on stage at Sunburst for friends and family.

SLB Radio Summer Camps offer students one-of-a-kind experiences at the SLB Youth Media Center, including opportunities to learn new skills, get creative, make new friends, and have their voices be heard. Camps are centered on project creation, designed to help all students to walk away with original audio projects to share with family, friends, and SLB Radio listeners.

"FutureME: Discover, Create, Lead!" is a transformative summer camp where children ages 7-12, explore their passions, develop creativity, and build leadership skills. Through hands-on activities, guest speakers, and real-world experiences, participants gain confidence and clarity for their future careers and personal growth.

Young Rebel Day Camp is for middle school/junior high students. With the focus on the Whiskey Rebellion, campers will be introduced to the study and analysis of primary sources of information through direct instruction and hands-on activities. A bit more academic than our Hands on History camp for younger kids, the lessons will build useful skills that will carry over into the classroom. There will also be an 18th century etiquette lesson and introduction to the annual Bradford House Poster Contest. Each day includes a snack, crafts, and a story excerpt. Each camper will receive a Young Rebel t-shirt.

OAC Summer Camp offers unique, creative, and challenging programs focused in arts, sciences, and athletics designed to empower self-discovery and growth. We offer dozens of dynamic and inclusive activities for children ages 4 – 12 that are designed to bring children together while diversifying their interests to grow well-rounded families.

Campers will have plenty of fun in this day camp that blends an introduction to rowing with STEAM content, social emotional learning, mindfulness, journaling, group discussion, cooking, and other activities that challenge campers to connect with each other, themselves, and the river.

Grab your hat – it’s time for a wild Pittsburgh adventure! Your camper will explore the unique ecosystems found right here at home. Campers will learn about native and invasive plant species, unexpected creatures (did you know we have COYOTES here?) and amazing animal adaptations to Pittsburgh’s unique climate.
