Summer camp at Sunburst is all about having a blast with music! Campers will explore the wide world of music, including playing in a band, writing and recording songs, drum circles, beatmaking, art projects, and more. Whether they’re picking up an instrument for the first time or working on more advanced skills, there’s something for every young musician. Each week culminates with a live performance on stage at Sunburst for friends and family.

Spark curiosity through hands-on experiences at our summer camps! These camps offer engaging activities like live animal encounters and opportunities to explore the wonders of wildlife for children ages 4 and up.

SLB Radio Summer Camps offer students one-of-a-kind experiences at the SLB Youth Media Center, including opportunities to learn new skills, get creative, make new friends, and have their voices be heard. Camps are centered on project creation, designed to help all students to walk away with original audio projects to share with family, friends, and SLB Radio listeners.

Our summer day camps balance exploration, nature play, and learning with games, crafts, science activities—and time to be a kid. Camps take place at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve (Fox Chapel), Succop Nature Park (Butler), and Buffalo Creek Nature Park (Sarver).

Rowing Camp for ages 11-18 held at Steel City Rowing Club Boathouse in Verona. This rowing day camp is a program for those who want to learn or improve their knowledge and skills in the sport of rowing! Sessions available for both Development and Competitive instruction.

YMCA Camp Kenan, located on the scenic shores of Lake Ontario in Western New York, has been offering unforgettable outdoor adventures for youth of all ages. Established with a commitment to fostering personal growth, teamwork, and leadership, Camp Kenan provides a safe, welcoming environment where campers can explore nature, build lifelong friendships, and discover their potential.

Young Rebel Day Camp is for middle school/junior high students. With the focus on the Whiskey Rebellion, campers will be introduced to the study and analysis of primary sources of information through direct instruction and hands-on activities. A bit more academic than our Hands on History camp for younger kids, the lessons will build useful skills that will carry over into the classroom. There will also be an 18th century etiquette lesson and introduction to the annual Bradford House Poster Contest. Each day includes a snack, crafts, and a story excerpt. Each camper will receive a Young Rebel t-shirt.

Steel City Rowing Club offers an outdoor day camp along the Allegheny River in Verona for kids ages 8-12! Campers can expect to explore the river and Sycamore Island, connect with the water via swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and having fun on the docks and around the boathouse. Indoor activities include games, crafts, and group activities.
