For the kiddo who loves to look under rocks, this week of water and creek exploration will make their summer! Campers will create natural face paint, build and race a cardboard fish, and look for creatures big and small in the waterways of North Park. This camp is designed to provide campers with skill development and instruction directly from the RMU coaching staff and players, all within RMU Basketball facilities. Young Rebel Day Camp is for middle school/junior high students. With the focus on the Whiskey Rebellion, campers will be introduced to the study and analysis of primary sources of information through direct instruction and hands-on activities. A bit more academic than our Hands on History camp for younger kids, the lessons will build useful skills that will carry over into the classroom. There will also be an 18th century etiquette lesson and introduction to the annual Bradford House Poster Contest. Each day includes a snack, crafts, and a story excerpt.
