During the summer, Allegheny County holds basketball mini camps in 10+ communities throughout the county. The mini camps are free and open to ages 9-18. Participants may attend as many mini camps as they like. All camps take place on weekdays, 10:00 am - 2:30 pm, and include a free lunch provided by the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank. Pre-registration is highly recommended to guarantee that every child receives a free box lunch. Register for each day your child will attend!

Join us for Brixology, where students will use unique Mad Science designed LEGO® kits to build a different engineering-themed project in every session! They will use critical thinking, cooperation, and creative problem-solving to test and improve your creations! Each class will revolve around a different engineering theme- including mechanical, structural, and nautical engineering. Brixology sets the foundation for our next generation of makers!

Camp Pine is the Township's comprehensive summer camp program with both weekly full-day and half day options available. Each week, Camp Pine embarks on a unique theme that helps guide the weekly activities and fun. Daily activities include arts and crafts, games, field trips, special visitors from the Zoo, Phipps Botanical Gardens, MAD Science, Weird Eric Magic, and so much more!

Kids cuddle fluffy bunnies, hold chirping chicks, play with whimsical goats on "goat mountain". Whip up culinary delights like ice cream, butter, homemade strawberry jam or pickles from items grown on the farm. Riding horses is often the highlight of the week, but it is hard to choose! Spend the hot sunny afternoons exploring the eco system of Raccoon Creek. Our farm has a unique blend of fun, education and adventure. This is experience that your child will never forget!

Campers will have plenty of fun in this day camp that blends an introduction to rowing with STEAM content, social emotional learning, mindfulness, journaling, group discussion, cooking, and other activities that challenge campers to connect with each other, themselves, and the river.

Teaching the next generation of animal advocates! Grade levels listed indicate which camp is appropriate for your child based upon the grade they complete in the spring of this year. Youths must be registered for the appropriate camp that matches their grade.

Summer is calling and it's deliciously fun! Young Chefs® Academy Summer Camp is a fully immersive culinary camp experience. Each day brings fun, unique recipes served up with a side of sizzling tips, tricks and surprises, all culminating in a friendly culinary challenge among participants that puts their new skills to the test!

Our summer day camps balance exploration, nature play, and learning with games, crafts, science activities—and time to be a kid. Camps take place at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve (Fox Chapel), Succop Nature Park (Butler), and Buffalo Creek Nature Park (Sarver).
