 Bradford House Historical Association |
An immersive experience into late 18th century living on the southwestern Pennsylvania frontier. The 2025 theme is Farm and Home. Campers explore the 1790s through various activities, such as crafts, games, food, music, and lessons, tour the museums, examine artifacts, and dress in period clothing. Demonstrators and reenactors interact with the campers, sharing their knowledge of tools, trades, and lifestyle.

Creative Fun! Our 5-day workshops provide hands-on experience in a real theater. Under the guidance of theater professionals, each group creates, writes, produces, and performs their show on the last day.

Junior Explorers Camp features exciting outdoor activities such as hiking, geocaching, and biking. Our safety-conscious staff will create a structured environment for our little learners to explore. Campers will also learn tp fish (with special hooks!), rock some STEM experiments, and build social skills through team-building games.

Our most popular camp is back again this summer: Join us for a week of LEGO® themed building challenges, artistic creations, and more! Explore the world of engineering while making models, investigate motion with cars and ziplines, then test out gears and simple machines. Create a brick self-portrait, then try painting with bricks! Design and create a LEGO® Town and Trolley Park, then ride down the rails aboard the LEGO Coding Express®.

These sessions are directed for pre-teen campers (8 1/2 to 13 years old)! From the time the campers get up in the morning until they crash into their bunks at night, each day is filled with faith, friends and fun! In addition to time in the Word of God at chapel and in the cabins, there is plenty of time for activities such as team sports, horseback riding, riflery, fishing, boating, swimming, challenge course, climbing tower and crafts.
